Schools – Las Vegas Valley
The Clark County School District is the 6th largest in the United States, with over 230,000 students. New schools are being completed every year in Las Vegas just to keep up with the tremendous growth of the Las Vegas Valley. Despite this rapid increase, test results remain consistently good, and Green Valley High School has even been ranked in the top 10 of all high schools in the United States.
There are a variety of both public and private schools available to residents, and many have their own web sites with school specific news and activities. Clark County also provides each student and his/her parents free access to Clark County School District, a web site with information on student classes, homework assignments and upcoming school events.
